Ayalla's Banana Bread Recipe
What You Need
3 very ripe bananas
1/2 cup shortening
3 tablespoons plain yogurt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup sugar
2 cups whole wheat pastry flour
1 cup chopped walnuts (optional)
What To Do
1. Preheat oven to 350F and grease a loaf pan.
2. Cream together shortening and sugar.
3. Mix in bananas, then mix in remaining ingredients.
4. Pour into loaf pan.
5. Bake 1 hour, 15 minutes.
